Since 2012, Coastal Gallery’s co-owners, Bev Saunders and Stewart Mechem, have enjoyed working with fellow Lymington creative people. Now based within Palais des Vaches at Lower Exbury Farm, Exbury SO45 1AE, Coastal Gallery is keen to continue its links with Lymington-based creative businesses including photographer, Paul Close, graphic designer, Nick Beresford-Davies of Tinstar Design, interior designer, Jo Jo Macnamara and lifestyle store, Blu Bambu Living.
Photographer, Paul Close, approached Coastal Gallery concerning a project to draw attention to the wealth of creative people who live and work in Lymington. They included Stewart Mechem and several Coastal Gallery artists – Julie Collins, Michael Turner, Jackie Giron, Sophie McDowall, Steve Powell, Andy Baerselman, Chris Whittaker and Trina Hart. Paul Close published the resulting portraits in a unique book entitled Lymington Creatives.

Blu Bambu Living works with Indonesian artisans to create and curate beautiful furniture collections. The furniture is fashioned from reclaimed teak and natural materials, all seamlessly blended with calming neutral colours and coastal influences. Coastal Gallery is collaborating with Blu Bambu Living to feature original artwork from the Coastal Gallery collection at Blu Bambu Living’s stunning showroom on Bridge Road, Lymington SO41 9BY.
